I want to express my gratitude to all past, present and future to the Women and Men for their service. To the sacrifices they make and have made for this country. To my oldest Son Devin (MY HERO). You young man what you have endured and still smile everyday and strive for greatness is beyond what I could ever fathom having someone I could call my son. Devin served 6 years in the Navy. Early in his contractual duty while he was deployed in Bahrain he was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. By the grace of GOD his Commanding Officer noticed he didn’t look right and sent him to sick bay. The sick bay sent him to the hospital due to being short staffed. Typically they give Tylenol and send the sailor back to command. The Divine Intervention that happened that day saved my baby. He beat Cancer like the Warrior he is. He will be graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance next year. MY HERO.
To the newest member in our Family who will serve is my youngest son Brady, MY GIFT. He joined the Marines. I protested against it with all my might but in the end this is what he wanted. I gave him my blessing because I respect him and what road he wants.
To my sons and all service peeps. I commend the sacrifices you all have endured and your protection to keep us safe. The deepest respect and love. Thank You.
